Austin TX Family Photos at Sekrit Theater ~ Austin Family & Baby Photographer

Is there a dreamier place for family photos than Sekrit Theater in East Austin? I think not.

I’ve been photographing this stunning family for a few years now, and it just never gets old. Family photos are one of those things that always turn out 100% better when you relax and lean into it - lean into the messy, the imperfect, and go in without expectations except to arrive and show love to one another. I remember this session being warmer than we’d prefer (which was exacerbated by being in a greenhouse!), and the girls were getting eaten alive by mosquitos which of course contributed to some moodiness. But these parents leaned in, remained patient and calm, and extended grace. And you know what? This is one of my favorite sessions of all time, and you’d NEVER guess by the final images that conditions were anything less than optimal.
